This Is The Best ....
After having read about it in Consumer's Report I tried Olay's Regenerist Perfecting Cream for the first time. After applying it at night I awoke to soft glowing skin. I can't believe that I wasted so much money on chemical creams that actually made my skin feel drier. I also use the Regenereist eye lifting serum and it really does lift the eye area.

Hurray for Olay!
Well let's FACE it..short of any procedure that is invasive(botoxcosmetic surgery etc) there really isnt any magic cream that is going to reverse the aging process but there are a number of products that will aid in improving the look feel and texture of your face. I've been trying out several of the products out there and I found "Olay Total Effects Night Firming Cream For Face and Neck" to be one of the best ones around.
I really like this one alot because of the many benefits it has all in one jar. After using it pretty generously for a little over a month(I've used about 1/2 the jar so far) I found it worked wonders on improving the look and feel of my skin. It minimized the appearance of fine lines really hydrated my dry skin improving on firmness absorbed deep into my skin so using it every night I could still feel the softness the next morning and left my face feeling very smooth to the touch. I especially felt and saw visable result around my neck and throat area(where I am really starting to get that over 50 look).
It has a nice very light scent and here's the best part... The price here at Amazon is about 1/2 of what I paid when I purchased it along with my groceries at the market(and it was even on sale at the store) so at around twelve dollars here right now it's a real bargain.
There are 7 benefits listed on the box some I mentioned above others include evening skin tone minimizes the appearance of pores and reduces the appearance of blotches and age spots. Give this one a try for any of these aging signs.
Don't expect a miracle. The wrinkles will not vanish but a nice improvement in the look and feel of your skin a healthy glow that leaves you feeling just a little better about yourself(and a a great price).
The formula includes a fast absorbing skin strengthener called VitaNiacin(Vit B3 Vit E and Pro-Vit B5)wheat protein and hydrators.
I like it and recommend it.....Laurie

Ok is you haven't tried "real" professional products.
I have been using the Olay Discoloaration fighting concentrate for 4 weeks and it has done an ok job.
It has faded some marks a little but does not work as well as the real over the counter products I get from the pharmacy or dermatologist.
If you haven't tried anything else before it might work very well but I was already using Neostrata lightening creams that are half the price ($30 for 15ml) considering Olay costs $70 around here in stores it is really not that worth it.
At least Olay has a money back option for this new line so I'm not out of my hard earned money.
I do like all the regular Olay products though and have gotten so many compliments on the "touch of foundation" creams!

I love this stuff...
Buy this product and you will feel like you had a facial seriously. I have used it twice and my skin felt ultra soft. This kit is easy to use simply rub the crystals on your face for about 1-2 minutes. The crystals are like a salt scrub. Then put the peel serum directly on top of the crystals and rub for about 1 minute (it will feel warm on your skin). Then rinse throughly with warm water. Less than 5 minutes and you are finished! The kit looks like you could use it 10-20 times before running out. Be careful not to get it near your nostrils and eyes. After using this kit my pores were less noticable and my skin wasn't red like most products will do. For $30 it isn't too expensive and you will actually save money by not going to a spa for a monthly facial.

Five Stars for Those in Need of Skin Repair. Two Stars for Those Already Invested in Their Skin.
Summary: After using this product for three weeks I have elected to stay with the regimen constructed by my dermatologist: Renova (for exfoliating dead skin and building collagen) and CeraVe (for moisturizing). While some may find this cost prohibitive I will elect to invest a little more in my skin-care to achieve optimal results. A study recently conducted by Allure magazine agrees.
The details: With Renova running about $200.00 per tube and Olay claiming comparable results I decided to take a break from my usual regime and try Pro-X. The results simply paled in comparison. My skin simply lacked the luster and smoothness that Renova delivers. Moreover while Renova is odorless there is a slight medicinal note to the Pro-X products. (I'm curious if that scent is added to give the consumer a feeling that he/she is using a product that is comparable to prescription "medications" or if it's merely a result of the ingredients).
Who I think this could see results from this system: I have always been devoted to proper skincare. When I entered my 20s I began yearly trips to the dermatologist to ensure that I would never have "play catch-up" with time. Ten years later: Renova was/is worth every single dollar. (And when used properly peeling is very rare). However if you have been neglecting your skin for years (by sun-bathing not wearing a SPF daily smoking drinking etc...) and want to change your habits as well as the quality of your skin I believe you will see results with Pro-X. No it will not be the same as visiting your local dermatologist but it will be a close second. So PLEASE skip the expensive department-store creams (like Chanel Clinique Estée Lauder etc...) they are nearly as expensive as Renova (if not MORE expensive) and do not have shared results. (Kinerase is the exception here ... dermatologists do recommend this product for diminishing fine lines and improving texture).
If you do not have medical insurance and do not care to pay for a visit to the dermatologist (it can be pricey I agree) try Pro-X and expect results.
The caveat: Allure magazine recently conducted an independent study of Pro-X (which alleges to give similar results to Renova). (See this month's issue). The results: after 24 weeks of using Pro-X subjects saw a 25% reduction in the appearance of wrinkles ... but the results were not as dramatic as those who use Renova. (However subjects did not experience the potential dryness and peeling that can result from over-applying or overusing Renova).
So it's pretty much about your expectations and your priorities (and the state of your finances). Pro-X will deliver results to those who have seriously neglected their skin. Pro-X will not deliver results to those who have been vigilant (i.e. obsessed with optimal skin health). If you are tempted then I say try this product ... and (whatever the results) return here and post your experience!

It Simply Works
This formula performs - I have been using Repechage for years - and this cream locked more moisture into my skin after one application than my whole experience with pricey French-based marine cosmetics. It's not greasy at all - it absorbs very well into the skin - even the day time formula. My skin feels like a baby's butt (!) and it is healthier and cleaner. I'm so impressed and very happy I tried it.
